Pomeranz feels good after bullpen session
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Rockies left-hander Drew Pomeranz, pulled from his last Cactus League start because of a strained right glute muscle, reported feeling good Monday and is in line to resume his season preparation by pitching in a Minor League game on Wednesday.

Pomeranz, 23, expected to be a key member of the rotation as a rookie, suffered the injury last Tuesday during a start against the Dodgers and was given extra time to heal. Sunday was his second bullpen session since the injury. Pomeranz said he feels in schedule.

"I didn't feel it at all when I threw [Sunday], so I'll keep getting treatment," Pomeranz said. "It wasn't anything serious to start out with, so I should be able to do everything I can to be ready."
