Tracy sets Rockies' final 25-man roster

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Rockies manager Jim Tracy is prepared to go into battle, and he believes he's got the players who can make some noise in the National League West Division.

After optioning pitcher Edgmer Escalona and reassigning catcher Wil Nieves and infielders Brendan Harris and Brandon Wood on Sunday, the 25-man roster is set.

Starting the first four games will be Jeremy Guthrie, Jamie Moyer, Juan Nicasio and Jhoulys Chacin. In the bullpen will be Rex Brothers, Matt Reynolds, Rafael Betancourt, Matt Belisle, Tyler Chatwood, Esmil Rogers and Josh Roenicke.

Catchers are: Ramon Hernandez and Wilin Rosario.

Infielders: Jason Giambi, Marco Scutaro, Troy Tulowitzki, Todd Helton, Jordan Pacheco, Chris Nelson and Jonathan Herrerra.

Outfielders: Dexter Fowler, Carlos Gonzalez, Michael Cuddyer, Tyler Colvin and Eric Young Jr.

The Rockies begin the regular season Friday against the Astros in Houston.
