"I haven't felt very well since I got back, health-wise -- I have congestion in my body and my stomach," said Gonzalez, who was not in the lineup for Monday night's game against the Reds at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. "But I'm trying to get back, feel better, take a lot of medicine and start recovering.
"Either way, I'm not wasting my time. I'm taking at-bats. I'm seeing pitches. That's all a part of Spring Training. Of course, I'll be ready to play in the season. We're already excited about Opening Day. The good part is we have something like 10 more games left. We can get work in, concentrate and be ready for first pitch. We all want to be 100 percent when that happens."
