DENVER (May 2, 2013) - Beginning today at 11 a.m., for the first time in many years The Blue Moon Brewing Company at Coors Field will open its doors to the public. Previously accessible only to Coors Field ticket-holders during Rockies games, The Blue Moon Brewing Company now invites beer lovers to come on in and enjoy the Artfully Crafted beers from the brewery on non-game days too.
Blue Moon Brewing Company opened for business in 1995 at The Sandlot, a brewery within Coors Field. The brewery's flagship beer, Blue Moon Belgian White, has grown into one of the country's most popular craft beers.
"For nearly two decades, Rockies fans coming to games have enjoyed great craft beer at The Blue Moon Brewing Company," said Greg Feasel, Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado Rockies. "We're excited to give visitors and other beer drinkers in Denver the chance to experience what Rockies fans have been privy to for so long."
Open from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (subject to Rockies home games), baseball and beer fans can sample beers from Blue Moon's many collections.
"At the brewery we're constantly having fun and experimenting with new recipes, so the beers we serve will always be changing," said brewmaster, John Legnard. "It'll be fun to see what people think of the beers and showcase what Blue Moon Brewing Company as a brewery is about."
