Rockies agree to terms with 16 players from the 2013 First-Year Player Draft


DENVER - The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has agreed to terms with 16 players the club selected in the 2013 First-Year Player Draft.

Included among the 16 players is each of the club's first four selections in the draft. Additionally, the club has agreed with seven players from the draft's first 10 rounds, as well as 11 of the Rockies first 15 selections.

Many of the players the Rockies agree to terms with for the draft will begin their professional career's at either Rookie-Level Grand Junction (Pioneer League) or Short-Season-A Tri-City (Northwest League). Tri-City will begin their season tonight vs. Vancouver, while Grand Junction's season will begin on Thursday, June 20th vs. Ogden.
