Rockies and Uber Denver team up

DENVER - The Colorado Rockies and Uber Denver announced a one-year partnership for the 2014 season which will help deliver fans safely to and from their homes before and after Rockies games.

"This partnership will encourage our fans to choose a safe ride home after enjoying a great night at the ballpark," commented Greg Feasel, Rockies Executive Vice President and COO. "We feel this relationship will help facilitate the already rapid growth of Uber in and around the Denver Metro Area."

Uber is the smartphone app that connects you with safe, reliable transportation in the Mile High City. Uber is offering Rockies fans $20 off their first ride in Denver with the code ROCKIES. Download the app to your phone and enter in ROCKIES under the promotions section.

By seamlessly connecting riders to drivers through Uber apps, Uber makes cities more accessible, opening up more possibilities for riders and more business for drivers. Uber was founded in 2009 and has launched in over 70 cities today. The company's rapidly expanding global presence continues to bring people and their cities closer.
