ATLANTA -- The Rockies plated their third run in Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Braves after Colorado manager Walt Weiss successfully challenged an out call on Atlanta catcher Evan Gattis' tag of Charlie Culberson at home plate in the seventh inning.

After review, umpires ruled that Culberson managed to avoid Gattis' tag and score, snapping Colorado's streak of four consecutive road games with two runs scored or fewer. The review lasted four minutes and 14 seconds.

With one out in the inning, pinch-hitter Charlie Blackmon hit a sharp grounder to Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman. Freeman fielded the ball and threw home, beating Culberson to the plate.

However, the third baseman dove to the right of the plate on a headfirst slide, evading Gattis' mitt and touching home plate with his left hand.

"I was hoping they didn't have enough evidence to overturn it," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "But coming back and seeing a different look at it, it was clear and convincing. That was a big run there."
