DENVER -- The Cubs' game Wednesday didn't end until manager Rick Renteria was sure about the last out.
Renteria challenged the last play of the game when pinch-hitter Junior Lake grounded out to pitcher Brooks Brown in the ninth inning. The Cubs had a runner at first and two outs, and trailed the Rockies, 13-4.
After a review, the officials determined the call was good and that the play would stand. And the game was over.
